I used to talk about them all the time back when they were getting ready to release their first batch of models, but then I kind of forgot about them because I never actually went after said models, remember? Well, they're getting their stuff together right now and it's looking really good, at least to me. They've already put out two waves of their first release on three different lines; deluxe, premium and licensed, and I actually ordered the complete set of the deluxe line a couple days ago. They've also launched a new site, called Auto World Garage, with further info from their lines and models as well sneaks of upcoming stuff, and it's really worth checking out:
Now, I'm not saying you should go out and buy these cars like right now, but for the diecast collectors out there... it might be worth checking out. I'm really liking their lineup so far and I think these guys could really use the support so they don't vanish within their first year or anything.

Deluxe, Premium or Licensed Premium. That's an odd set of trim levels.

I bought a SetB livery Ford GT from their Licensed Premium set last week. Didn't know they were new or anything. Car comes with a small display case and is pretty heavy for its size (thats a good thing!) - it actually feels like a quality model. Definetly will be looking out for more now.

Agreed... They should've done like I did and called the basic range Arcade and the premium range Simulation.
I haven't bought any of the premium or licensed premium cars yet, but, from what I understand, they feature the same level of quality, the licensed premium is more expensive because of an acrylic case and a magazine cover display.
The one that really caught my eye though, was the deluxe range. It seems to be well done without being overdone and according to the page they feature smooth rolling speed wheels. I ordered a full set of them and, if anyone's interested, I could do an Oppo review once they arrive.

I bought a Set B IROC Camaro, totally worth it but they're really hard to find. There was only three AWG cars left at Walmart, gone the next day, and never restocked.

Well, technically, only the brand is new, the people behind it are the same guys behind Johnny Lightning and Racing Champions in their prime. But I'm glad to hear good things about them, they seem to hold a very open business model, with contacts in several collector communities and I'm really hoping they'll be successful.

Yeah, I heard about their stocking problems as well... According to their contact at Swifty's Garage, they had some issues with their SKU on the first release and their inventory was erased on several stores. They're still looking into it, if I remember correctly, but that's why they weren't being stocked, specially at Walmart.

I just realized I have 2 others. Was looking for a certain Hot Wheels I posted about and stumbled across this image and noticed the 2 in the upper left corner. Fancy that.
Wonder why those came in a regular package while the GT came in a case. Or was the GT not an AW? I'm getting so confused with my die cast collection.

The GT is from AW's Licensed Premium range, which comes with a premium level model, display case and magazine cover stand, while the other two (which seem to be a 67 GTO and 67 GS400 by the colors) are from the Deluxe range. The premium level directly below it features a premium level car and Matchbox style box and the Deluxe level, their basic range, features what they call a basic level car and no boxes. It should be noted that their basic level of quality is on par with Johnny Lightning's quality level and far above Hot Wheels' basic quality level.

Ah. Gotchya. I'm a fan of the Deluxe ones I got there anyways so its all good. I usually scan all the brand 1:64s in the aisle but I'll be paying special attention to the Licensed Premium ones.

Same here, for some reason the basic range is the one that most caught my eye. I guess I just like the mix of model car and toy car those seem to focus on. I'm still curious about the high speed wheels though, if you ever open up you Deluxe cars, I'd love to know if they roll smooth and straight, haha...

Not planning to open and of the cars pictures above. I did open the GT to display it along with the rest of my cased models. I do have a loose Johnny Lightning Viper that rolls really nice.

Haha, no problem man, I'll be getting mine soon (ish, our postal service can take as longas 4 months for international deliveries) and I'll find out then. Not that stumbling cars would be a deal breaker to me or anything, it's just sheer curiosity of what they meant by speed wheels.
